If the owner of a house knew the time when the thief would come, you could be sure that he would stay awake and not let the thief break into his house.So then, you also must always be ready, because the Son of Man will come at an hour when you are not expecting him.

Who, then, is a faithful and wise servant?.... It is the one that his master has placed in charge of the other servants to give them their food at the proper time. How happy that servant is if his master finds him doing this when he comes home. Indeed, I tell you, the master will put that servant in charge of all his property.

Let the fig tree teach you a lesson. When its branches become green and tender and it starts putting out leaves, you know that summer is near. In the same way when you see all these things, you will know that the time is near, ready to begin. Remember that all these things will happen before the people now living have all died.Heaven and Earth will passs away, but my words will never pass away.

Then the King will reply....I tell you, whoever refused to help one of the least important one's, you refused to help me ...........................

Well Thien and I are almost ready to embark on another mission.

we leave for Hawaii in a few days and wont be back until the end of December.

I pray that God will deliver each and every one who is far from him.

To practice the presence of God is to first desire to be in his presence,know his presence and to find out what it means to practice Gods presence in our everyday lives.

 

God communicates his presence to us his children every day and every moment of any given day.

All around us is God presence.

He shows us his presence in the place where we take residence.

 

All around us is Gods presence through his handy work ,the trees , flowers ,sun , moon and the stars.

God's creation reflecst his very presence.

 

He desires for us to know his presence.

He will reveal himself to us as we reach out and except his love and closeness ,that he is so ready to give.

 

Here are some examples of experiencing God's presence in your every day life.

 

The very act of worship and prayer will communicate God's precious presence to us.

To know someone's presence one has to spend time with that one to get to know the person, and to know their presence , to know who they are ,and how they show themselves to you.

As we spend time with God in acts of worship, singing the praises of God and in communication ,talking to God and listening to him we will experience God's awsome presence as he reveals himself and teaches you what his true nature is all about.

 

The closer we draw to God , the more we are impressed with his beauty , his greatness and his Majesty.

The more we practice God's Holy presence , the more we will want of God in our daily life.

We will look for him through every situation we face.

 

We are at this moment as close to God as we really choose to be.

The fact of the matter is... God's presence is all around us whether we choose to acknowledge that presence or not.

 

God told Moses to prepare the nation for his manifestation on Mount Sinai.

God summoned Moses on several occasions to climb up Mount Sinai.

God spoke to Moses during those times.

During Mose's life time he experienced different levels of intimacy with God.

We can know this for our life too.

We can be assured that our God will lead us in every step of our lives.

Mose's experienced the presence of God and we too can know that same presence.

The heavens tell of the glory of God.

The skies display his marvellous craftsmanship.

Day after day they continue to speak;

night after night they make him known.

They speak without a sound or a word;

their voice is silent in the skies;

yet their message has gone out to all the earth,

28"Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. 29Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30For my yoke is easy and my burden is light."

Christ is my only hope for salvation.

He suffered for my sake that I would be an object of justification.

I am a poor undeserving sinner , unworthy of his mercy.

I have been redeemed by my Saviour.

My purpose on earth is to glorify God for he gave me eternal life!

Christ is my rock ! my Saviour !

May I serve him all the more, faithful unto death , that I might gain the crown of life.

 

     Oh! for grace our hearts to soften

     Teach us Lord at length to love;

     We, alas! forget too often

     What a friend we have above:

     But when home our souls are brought,

     We will love thee as we ought.

 

Jesus said love your father with all your heart, all your soul and with all your mind.

The seed on good soil stands for those with a noble heart, a good heart , who hear the word , retain it and by persevering produce a crop.

God said I will give them one heart and I will put a new spirit within them, and take the stony heart out of the flesh, that they may walk in my statutes , and keep my judgements , and do them.

Well my friends !  We must be everywhere in the spirit of devotion, with hearts always set towards heaven.

Looking to God for all our actions , and doing everything as his servant, worshipping him not just with our lips but by actions, yet also with thankfulness in our hearts.

All good things come from God and his joy knows no bounds.

God gives us richly all good things to enjoy.

And his presence is full of joy.

True happiness consists only in the enjoyment of God.

His favour is life and his loving kindnes is better than life.

Rejoice in the Lord always.

May you and I always be more and more drawn in, taken over,

and consumed by this love from God.

I cannot explain it, but there is within me a Joy that cannot be extinquished.

May I live ever more, centred in him. filled with his joy.

The kingdom of God is righteous and peace and Joy is the Holy spirit.

God is love so anyone who abides in love ... abides in God.

When you come to know God by experience , you will be convinced of his love.

When you are convinced of his love you can believe in him and trust in him.

When you trust him you can obey him , for when you trust in him you have no trouble obeying him.

For this is the love of the Lord.

Some how my love for God and his love for me , my obedience and the indwelling of his spirit , all come together in making me the person he wants me to be.

God loves me just because he wants to, not because I in anyway deserve it.

So my friends..dont be afraid..just believe.

Faith is the antidote for fear

                  Seek and you shall find

Yes ! seek the Lord, your father with all your heart remembering the wonderful works he has done.

What does intimacy mean?

Well intimacy with God means sharing with him on every level , emotional , intellectual , and spiritual.

Always being free to share your feelings , what ever they are , love , sorrow,guilt , joy.

Feel for his indwelling spirit and respond to your urgings , for he is waiting.

Seek the Lord while he may be found and call upon him while he is near.

Why put of for tomorrow what you can do today.

So fall to your knees and seek him with all your heart , soul and mind.

Then you will truly know what it is like to be intimate with our Lord.

Seek the Lord and call upon his name,in the hope that he is not far from each one of us.

 

For if you seek him he will let you find him , and he will listen to you.

 

But you must seek with all your heart.

 

If you ask you will be given what you asked for.....seek and you shall find.

 

Seek the Lord and his strength continually and remember the wonderful works he has done.

 

Let you heart rejoice as you seek the Lord.

 

Live at all times knowing that we are forever under his gaze , and ought to there for live in his glory.

 

But remember too ! that strength and maturity comes from getting involved with him.

 

He pursues us so we must pursue him until we are wrapped up in him , and then we will know limitless  joy and unending blessings.

 

 I want to live each hour for God, in his presence, seeking his pleasure.

If I am intimate with the Lord , my heart is receptive to his urgings and I dont resist his moving in me.

Our Father searches us all and knows us well.

He knows when our motives are pure and he knows when they're not.

So daily we must put our trust in him, and trust him enough to guide our thoughts and steps.

As I submit myself to him and have with him the intimate relationship that he desires , I begin to see evidence of his changing my life.

I know that when I put my trust in him, his righteousness is just and his love unfailing.

            BLESS THE LORD

 

The glory of the Lord is within us, and we are being transformed into his image more and more each day.

When I seek him each day I desire him to perfect his image into my soul, and make me entirely like him.

But remember also, only those recreated by the son will behold the unveiled glory of our father.

For you cannot trust and love someone you dont know with out knowing them first.

So !  no time to delay.

Ask to let Lord Jesus/Father God into your life...repent your sins and you will be forgiven and saved.

Then you will know salvation is yours and understand the true meaning of love and truth.

Remembering also to seek him daily in prayer, devotion, praise and song.

                                  JESUS LOVES US 

Jesus is indeed the image of our invisible God and we as his children are made in his image.

So to is our spirit,  for his spirit lives in us.

It is he alone who has immortality and dwells in the light.

But we as his children can attain to be like him.

Let his spirit shine through in deed and action, so then his light will shine upon his servants.

Seek our Lord daily and let his light empower you...then being filled daily, go forth and do his work,like the disciple that you are.

Go forth with his light shining before you, in peace holding the banner of his mighty name.

If we abide in him and he in us , we can no more help bringing forth fruit than can the branches of a flourishing vine.

In the very nature of things the fruit must come.

If Jesus is living in my heart then I must be Christ like and his character must manifest in my daily walk and conversation.

His spirit makes us loving and kind, ready to reach out, to lift up those who have fallen, to forgive quickly, to be patient, truthful, righteous and kind.

How many times in a day do we feel inpatient, or cant be bothered.

Yes we are all guilty of this.

But our father loves us and doesnt abandon us, just like a parent doesn't abandon a naughty child.

No!  he would never do that, instead like a parent he would discipine in loving kindness,only ever wanting the very best for this precious child.

So dont despair.....If you fall ....just pick yourself up and start all over again , knowing that your father loves you.....so very very much ......AMEN

 LOVE    

 

To love another person more than yourself , to sacrifice one's self for another is indeed worthy in Gods eye's.

How many of us that are parents look into our child's eye's and see the love pouring out.

The adoring eye's of a child saying  " I love you daddy....or mummy ".

Then we take them in our arms holding them tightly as our love overflows.

We want to protect them from all things.

In fact we would sacrifice our own lives for theirs without a backward glance.

Well my friends.....this is true divine love.

This out pouring of love is in each of us.

And this is the character of God, for all good things come from God.

And for those who lose their lives to save anothe... this is pure love.

And for those who lose their lives for love or the sake of our Father in heaven.

Then truly I say to you.... it will be saved.....AMEN

 

 

 

" I delight to do your will, O my God and your law is within my heart"

 

The Holy Spirit chooses to reveal himself through words, not intellectual thoughts but spiritual words that reveal who he is.  That is how he has chosen to reveal himself. 

 So pray that your spiritual eye's and ears be opened. 

Teach your children God's laws, and meditate on them daily. 

Let them know that God loves them.

 Dont make decisions without first praying about it, then go out and do it if its according to his will. 

 Seek time with God daily, for in union with him you will become rich in all things. 

 Do all these things in love and loyalty until Christ has become so firmly established in you that you have not failed to recieve a single blessing, as you wait for our Lord Jesus Christ.

  For God has called for us all to have fellowship with his son Jesus Christ our Lord. AMEN
